The first handmade journal I ever made. Don't even ask me how long it took. 7.5" x 6.25"
Used cardboard for the cover, and cardstock to decorate it. Also used cardstock for the endpapers too. Words on the front were clipped from a newspaper, and construction paper was used as borders. Had to tape down the spine, as the glue I used wasn't strong enough to hold it. Used sketching paper for the pages. 48 pages total. Stitched of course. Looking back at it, I wished I did something a little more formal and "mature". The journal looks like it was done by some newbie DIY idiot. Ah well...the second journal I'm working on will be better. |

Ha ha, but seriously, that's a nice sketchbook ya' made there. I love the lining and card stock you used for the back. If you wanted to seal the front and the binding, I have some decoupage matte glue. It works wonderfully (I used it to seal my shoes!).
